This role can be based remotely, but ideally near our Guyancourt office and will include frequent business travels across France.
You will establish a new service business within Syngenta in France by taking charge of the commercial implementation and scale up of the Soil Health services. Your role will involve leading internal collaboration and engaging with channels/partners and customers to guarantee the success of the soil health service offer. You will be responsible for defining the country-specific operating model and achieving the soil health service KPIs and delivering the soil health service P&L.
Your role & responsibilities :
Develop the country-specific business plan, infrastructure and team to deliver the service to customersAccountable for establishing and delivering the end-to-end service from process order inflow to service deliveryStakeholder management to ensure that the soil health service offer is aligned with commercial organisation objectives and prioritiesContinual assessment of market potential and competitive landscape in the area of soil healthWork with the France Commercial Organisation to define the Go-To-Market (GTM) strategy and implement the agreed approach.Develop and execute the marketing strategy aligned with the Country Commercial Marketing team to capture the market potentialManagement of the commercial budget for soil health services.Responsible for developing the resource plan and recruitment to deliver the health service offerLine management of the soil health team in France incl. service delivery scheduling, making sure operators execute in time, on quality, manage the soil service car fleet and soil analysis laboratories delivery against given protocols.Provide customer first level support on the service and answer queries.Create strong customer relationships and ensure continual grower, channel and partner feedback to improve and evolve the soil health service offer and maximise customer satisfaction.Manage channel, partner or grower complaints.Report back country activities to regional Soil Health Service Head including need for potential product developments, service delivery issues, procurement needs, etc.

Qualifications
Your profile:
Graduated in agricultural engineering (or equivalent)At least 5 years experience in crop agronomy and/or soil healthGood knowledge of plant nutrition/fertilizers & soil healthExpertise in precision agronomy and experiences in grower advisory would be a plusMarketing/Commercial understandingEntrepreneurial business acumen, solution oriented focusing on resultsGood knowledge of change methodology to lead continuous improvement initiativesAbility to influence, lead teams to success and motivate field based operatorsA true leader, you are able to unite and convince different functions around a common objectiveExcellent communication and organisational skillsEnglish & French: Advanced level.
Graduated in agricultural engineering (or equivalent)
At least 5 years experience in crop agronomy and/or soil health
Good knowledge of plant nutrition/fertilizers & soil health
Expertise in precision agronomy and experiences in grower advisory would be a plus
Marketing/Commercial understanding
Entrepreneurial business acumen, solution oriented focusing on results
Good knowledge of change methodology to lead continuous improvement initiatives
Ability to influence, lead teams to success and motivate field based operators
A true leader, you are able to unite and convince different functions around a common objective
Excellent communication and organisational skills
English & French: Advanced level.
